What Is Ringworm? Ringworm is a common fungal skin disorder otherwise known as "tinea" or dermatophytosis. It is caused by a fungus that can live on skin, surfaces like gym floors, and household items like towels, bedding, and clothes. While there are multiple forms of ringworm, the most common forms affect the skin on the body the scalp.
Ringworm is a contagious fungal infection caused by common mold-like parasites that live on the cells in the outer layer of your skin. It can be spread in the following ways:
Human to human. Ringworm often spreads by direct, skin-to-skin contact with an infected person.
Animal to human. You can contract ringworm by touching an animal with ringworm. Ringworm can spread while petting or grooming dogs or cats. It's also fairly common in cows.

Soil to human. In rare cases, ringworm can be spread to humans by contact with infected soil. Infection would most likely occur only from prolonged contact with highly infected soil.
Bartonella are bacteria that live primarily inside the lining of the blood vessels. They can infect humans, mammals and a wide range of wild animals. The disease that results is called bartonellosis. Bartonella henselae causes an important emerging infection that was first reported in 1990.
The domestic cat, particularly kittens, is a major reservoir for B. henselae. The prevalence of B. henselae antibodies in US cats is 14 to 50%.
Almost all patients with cat-scratch disease report contact with cats, most of which are healthy. The specific location of the organism in the cat is unclear; however, periods of asymptomatic bacteremia occur in cycles. Infection is spread to humans via a bite or scratch. The cat flea transmits infection among cats and may be the cause of disease in humans who have not had contact with cats, although this theory is unproved. Children are most often affected.

TESTAMONIAL KLEEN GREEN CONCENTRATE - Hi, I've forgotten how long I've been using Kleen Green but I still can't get over how amazing it is. I used to open my home to a slightly troubled teenage friend of my son (He still stays here a lot but he's no longer a teenager and is a lot less troubled) and after one visit I sent him home with a pure white hoody. I didn't ask what the stains on it were in the first place (thought it best not to know!) but the enzymes did the trick. Direct eye contact should be avoided.
A painter’s mask should be worn when using ANY type of fogging solution for pest control purposes, including our organic fog solution. Humans and animals should be removed from the home during fogging procedures.
Occupants may return in 1 hour allowing the product to dry naturally.
Any stain or over spraying marks can be washed away with plain water.
Is Kleen Green formula safe for small animals,dogs, cats and horses?
Animals tend to tolerate Kleen Green Spray very well, but you should always consult your veterinarian when treating sick or elderly animals.
If using KG formula with essential oils
It is often reported that cats are uniquely sensitive to essential oils because their fragile livers can’t metabolize the phenol compounds. According to GreenPaws.org, essential oils that are safer for cats include cedarwood, lemongrass, peppermint and rosemary. In rare cases, ingestion of our product may cause lethargy or vomiting in cats. The same is true of ANY flea product or shampoo, be it chemical or natural. When in doubt, do a patch test to see how well your cat tolerates our formula or apply an Elizabethan cone to prevent your cat from licking its fur during treatment.
If your cat is already responding well to a chemical treatment prescribed by a veterinarian, continue that course of treatment and save our KG products to treat carpets and furniture.
Mites connected to pets can become a very serious problem for humans if the home is left untreated.
Note that our indoor product is especially formulated not to stain clothing, carpets, curtains and furniture. Since the formula is premixed, you should not add water.
