  • How to Kill Fleas with sodium Bicarbonate?

To effectively kill the adult fleas only that are living inside your home using soda, a vacuum cleaner and a good scrub brush. Follow the instructions below, in exact order: NOTE - To remove the remaining larva as they develop into adult fleas repeat again in seven and fourteen days. Liberally, you will need to sprinkle the soda across all of your carpets in an even pattern. Make sure to cover every inch of the carpets, even under furniture and inside the corners of the room to prevent the fleas from escaping.

Next important step is to brush the soda into the carpet. This helps push the soda deep into the carpets where fleas and their eggs will likely be hiding. When soda is properly in place, let it sit in your carpets for a day or two but no longer. Avoid walking through or inhabiting areas that are being treated as your legs, or the legs of your pet give an escape route for the fleas. Now (1 day later) vacuum over your carpet to remove the soda. You will vacuum up fleas and larvae. Remove the vacuum bag immediately from your home. Repeat in 7 - 14 days to be sure to kill any late hatching eggs or larvae.
