Biteback Sweet Relief Cream (FOR DOGS ONLY) 50g

A highly effective topical repellent cream for keeping your dog's skin calm and scab-free. Biteback Sweet Relief is formulated from gentle natural repellent ingredients that remove the causes of itching, thus calming and soothing the skin, keeping it healthy and the hair growing normally. It also kills mites (a major cause of itching) and lice, if they are present.

Ingredients

Benzyl benzoate will be work to keep the skin's natural barrier intact in dogs — natural oils alone are insufficient.

Liquid paraffin is used as a barrier cream by providing a layer of oil on the surface of the skin to prevent water evaporating from the skin surface. It is an emollient, sometimes known as skin lubricant. It is used to soothe, smooth and hydrate the skin.

Glycerin can be used to treat septic wounds and boils, used in the manufacture cosmetics, liquid soap, perfume and toothpaste.

Allantoin helps to soften and protect while actively soothing skin. It also stimulates cell regeneration promoting healthy skin. It comes from an extract from the root of the comfrey plant and is a soothing, non-irritating ingredient that has the ability to help heal the skin and stimulate the growth of healthy tissue.

Iodine reduces thyroid hormone and can kill fungus, bacteria, and other micro-organisms such as amoebas with organic natural oils all safe for dogs.

Usage

Use on affected areas by rubbing a small amount into the skin daily. Sweet Relief should be applied twice a day. There should be a noticeable difference within a week

FOOD - Feeding dogs with 'complete' dried kibble may, in our opinion, be linked with skin problems. A fresher, more natural diet often helps greatly; adding DYNA powder one teaspoon daily will help internally and improve coat and skin naturally.

BEDDING - The use of man-made fibres for dog bedding may cause problems in some dogs. This can be alleviated by changing to cotton bedding - old towels etc., washed in non-bio detergent or Borax/soda.

OVER SHAMPOOING - Dogs' skin is very sensitive. Whenever possible, we would use only warm water to rinse mud off, maybe then using a de-tangler with natural, gentle ingredients, such as Dr Bens – De-tangler.

TICKS OR FLEAS - Check that these are not present by going through the coat with a fine-tooth comb. If they are, remove carefully.
